About me:

Live is (mostly) good. I have a job that suits me well and satisfies my need to do something that is an art, science and a craft. In my off-hours, I strive to fulfill other aspects of a well-lived life.

My social self relishes intelligent conversation, especially with friends and family.

My caring self likes to do small kindnesses in my everyday life, and to prepare sandwiches for the poor.

My spiritual self is nourished by my religion, especially through silent prayer.

My artistic self likes to sing in an amateur Irish song group, attend other musical events, and to visit museums.

My active self likes to be underway on a sailboat with the wind in my face; gliding through a pristine winterscape on cross-country skis, and kayaking silently by birds.

My mental self relishes the challenge of solving real problems in software development. When I retire, I intend to do (part-time) pro-bono work for a charity.
