Hello there, thanks for reading.

I just arrived here from Orlando and although the cultural and environmental change from Florida is truly blissful, this adjustment has been a bit more tedious than I expected. Landed a 9 to 5er downtown, and it is a true blessing with this lingering recession. I'm a counselor who works with mentally ill at a psychiatric clinic. I'm the guy who pulls the lever down during electric shock treatments. I also wait tables at night part time so I can afford to go out with you from time to time.

WHAT AM I DOING? - meeting people, jogging 6.5 miles 4 to 5 times a week, singing at open mic nights when I have the courage to do it, learning how to use a digital camera, various editing programs and super 8 cameras; tooling around Seattle and feasting on its many offerings, trying to find a partner to learn how to speak spanish with.

PERSONAL: I spend time writing songs and playing guitar. I respect the creative process in all artistic fields and have dabbled with novice projects (i.e. spam music, short films, etc.) I seem to always have some life altering book infront of me, although I would rather learn about things from experience.

My close friends (a few I've had for going on twenty years) are my family, they raised me. So believe me- I know what it means to journey with someone out of want as well as obligation.

Goofing off and making you laugh is certainly one of my talents (I have an extreme and sardonic and dramatic sense of humor), but I'm all about cuddling up and having extistential conversations til dawn as well. I'm ultra open to new experiences and philosophy, but have brought my beliefs and moral center with me from Florida.

I'm sensitive and love affection, so listening to your thoughts intently, cuddling, and public displays of affection, all good stuff!


WHAT I WANT: I'm certainly not imposing with my faith, but it would knock my socks off to meet a girl who wants to talk about God and pray together.

I would really like to meet someone who, like me is tired of just hooking up. Yet, I'm not afraid of eventual, responsible intimacy when the time is right, (as long as it's monogamous, loving, and with the right person). I want to formulate a connection with someone first.

I also want someone who takes care of themselves and will push me to do the same. You don't have to be a triathlete (I'm not exactly Hugh Jackman), but having a figure you care about maintaining via some athletic/work out activity is quite attractive. I'm a sucker for brown eyes, long dark hair, and curves, but by no means do I have some physical agenda. If you're girly, smell good, and have a sense of style, kudos!! Also, what goals are you actively pursuing at the moment? And please have a job, some sort of education, and/or vocational training.

At any rate, let's just have some fun, treat each other with respect, make each other feel loved without being "in love", and allow vulnerability to exist.


PLENTY OF FISH CAVEATS: I'm over chatting all week on line and then you fall off the face of the earth. I have way too many hobbies, things to do, and a really cool roomate that's always up for a chess game. So I have maybe two emails in me then I need a phone number, or I gotta go, the pools on fire!! I can take rejection and God knows I can dish it out. I'm willing to take risks (smart ones) in order to grow. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

I pick you up at your place with symphony tickets. You're dressed in a black gown looking painfully hot. (I would love to see some long, shiny hair draped over your shoulders, a sincere sense of excitement that we're going out, and I strongly advocate you wearing one of those cool, silver arm brace things you ladies wear that spiral around your upper arms! Do they have a name?)..... We walk into the symphony hall and we have a glass of wine to relax. Meanwhile, all the old fat cats in their penguin suits, you know the ones that have season tickets but don't know sh*t about music, are staring at you, commiserating as they grumble to one another saying, "that guy with her is the luckiest **stard in here." We hold hands during the symphony, and exchange viciously flirtatious gazes. The music makes us feel a mutual calm. Afterwards, we have another glass of wine while slow dancing and laughing in some hip, yet unpretentious club that features a jazz singer and the dim lighting of a cave with candles. I take you home, embrace you at your doorstep, brush your hair with my fingers, and kiss you like a long lost love. You go inside dizzy, a bit stimulated, and dying for another date....

or meeting for a cup of coffee works too HAHA!!
