I believe that I am an interesting person who is curious about many different aspects of life and I'm looking for someone to explore the mysteries together. I enjoy cooking, making people laugh and smile and discussing whatever comes up. I'd like to meet someone who shares some of my interests, but I'm not looking for an exact clone. Finding out about new things through the eyes of someone else is one of my great pleasures.

I am an excellent listener who knows when to interject my opinion and when it's time to stay silent and to let you get your troubles off your chest. However, if that isn't enough to ease your worries, a long back rub is always an option.

I have my own house, a 200+ year old farm house on about 13 acres of fields and woods that I share with a bunch of cats and a dog, so liking animals would probably be a must.

I enjoy cooking and have a large collection of cookbooks to choose from. I bake my own bread from scratch and I can tell you right now that my pancakes are like heaven on earth. Can't say that about my omelets though which usually just end up scrambled.

I am pretty much exactly as I appear. There are no hidden agendas or skeletons in the closet to surprise you later on. I will answer your questions honestly and will explain the feelings behind my answers so that you will understand them. I am no pushover, but the word "compromise" is not a dirty word to me. Tell me your feelings, tell me why you want to do something a certain way and I will see it through with you.

Feel free to drop me a note if you are looking for the kind of man who will look you in the eyes as you speak to me and will actually remember what it is you talked to me about, who will let you pick the movie or restaurant as often as not, who will surprise you with a small gift six months after you casually mentioned it in an off hand remark, who will hold your hand in public and give you a quick squeeze and kiss while we are waiting for the Walk sign to change and while I may not bring you flowers everyday, I will make that one little gesture everyday that will tell you how much you mean to me.

Oh, and I will hold your purse while you are trying on clothes.
