On my fifth year school report I was described as being "easily distracted and distracting", and that's about right. I love to joke around and am at my happiest swapping banter with witty types. Underneath all the silliness though I'm very warm and loving with just enough sweet tenderness to make me a bit of bounty bar of a woman.
I own a beautiful fishing lake

and spend a lot of time talking to the anglers who come here on holiday, usually listening to them recount stories of the one that got away. I'm a big football fan (Arsenal and England) and am lucky enough to have a whopping great telly to watch it on. It's even better though if there's a crowd of people here to cheer the action on. I'm planning World Cup parties for all the England and France games next year, and will probably get completely over excited by it all and assume that we're going to win the tournament until we innevitably crash out at the semi-final stage.
Before moving to France I worked in the publishing industry as a writer and editor, and I still love the written word. I'm hoping to get into writing short stories this winter - and am looking forward to the idea of tapping out a tale or two in front of a toasty woodburner on a cold winter's evening.
Of course, there would innevitably be music to accompany my musings. Right now I'm in the world of pop ballads - James Morrison being my most played at the moment, but my taste ranges from Mozart to Meatloaf, with rather more U2 than might be considered healthy.
As for the rest - well, why not drop me a line and find out for yourself...
A funfair appeals. Lots of loud noise, thrills and cuddling up for the scary bits. Who knows, I might even get to go home with a teddy bear! I guess that would be more of a third date, though. At first I'd prefer to get to know someone, one to one in a quiet place. Maybe a walk around a beautiful chateau followed by a few drinks at a bar.
