Been living in Raleigh for quite a long time and have always found it difficult to meeting other single lesbians in the area. I'm originally from PA, so yes, I'm a "Yankee" by birth, but feel that I have lived long enough in the south to feel like a real southerner (besides, I actually like sweet tea, going to pig pickins, and collard greens!). I'm seeking to find other well-educated, single, professionals (lesbians only please, no bi's) to meet and am open to either meeting new friends or more (if the chemistry is there!).

On a first "real" date, I think going to a nice restaurant where it had a relaxing atmosphere, but not too noisy, would be the best place to meet so we can actually hear ourselves talk as we get to know each other. We'd enjoy some great wine, and share some tapas (light grazing on the first date is always better!). If the weather's nice, we could go for a relaxing walk after dinner to chat some more.
