About me:

I am a confident, successful professional who is looking to dabble with on-line dating to see what possibilities may lay ahead. I am financial secure--own my own downtown condo/cars; more importantly I am secure with who I am as an individual. I don't have any 'baggage' and am a very straight forward guy who speaks his mind. I don't play games, don't lie and am not pretentious.

My hobbies include watching movies--my genre would be films that examine the human condition such as Magnolia, Crash, Meet Joe Black, A Clockwork Orange ( pretty much all the Kubrick films as they are so poignant); however, I do enjoy other less serious genres especially comedies--wedding crashers has to be one of the funniest films ever!

I am health conscious and lift weights at least four times a week. I also jog/bike at least a couple of times a week. I do watch what I eat, however chocolate is oh so tempting at times:)

I can be laid back and humorous/silly (just ask my teammates); however I sometimes like to engage in intellectual conversations.

I enjoy watching and playing hockey (yes I am a Leaf fan! Senators fans move on;)

I enjoy reading non-fiction books and have quite a collection.

I'm a fun loving guy that has various dimensions.

Looking for:

A confident woman! Someone who is HAPPY with who she is, how she looks, and where she is in life. Must have goals, ambitions. If you have baggage please, I am not for you as I will detect this fairly quickly. If you need to look in the mirror every few minutes or need to wear a lot of make-up all the time, again, please continue your search. If you have a negative disposition we will not click as I am an optimist and can see past any misfortune. You must believe that a relationship is predicated on strong communication, honesty and trustworthiness. These are qualities I possess and hold dear to a lasting partnership.

Everyone is attractive. There is a superficiality we all possess where someone needs to find someone attractive in some way to spark that first step. I don’t have a “type” although I am not attracted to very skinny women. Pretentious women or ones that talk too much about nothing of relevance—gossip—turn me off!
