I may not know what I want, but I definitely know what I don't want. :)

I am definitely looking for a guy who has a sense of humor... I am light hearted and very easy going and find that a little humor can certainly make life a little more bearable as well as entertaining.

At the same time I am looking for a guy who is not afraid to show his emotions... in other words, if the movie is sad and moves you, go ahead and cry. It's okay to be sensitive :)

Integrity, honesty, trust, compassion & understanding, and UNSELFISHNESS... are all important in a relationship. They are a part of the "foundation" that a loving relationship is built upon. A relationship can grow strong with these characteristics solidly in place from the start.

A little bit about me:

I am an independent woman and I can take care of myself so I'm not looking for someone to pay my bills or change the oil in my car. However, I would like to find a kind, sensitive, caring, unselfish man, a lover, a best friend and/or possible sole mate. One who doesn't mind pampering me occasionally and doesn't mind that I do the same for him. I love to cook for a man who appreciates it. But I don't enjoy cooking every night. There should be a balance in there (I don't ever want it to become a chore!)

I have a positive attitude about people and life. I try to look for the good in every situation and in people as well. My glass is always half full, never half empty. I find that a positive attitude & outlook always make things a little less stressful :)

I am a volunteer with CAT (Cat Adoption Team) and would adopt ALL the kitties if I could. Bonus points for the guy who likes, or even owns a cat or two.

I work full time and enjoy social gatherings with girlfriends (& coffee) a couple times a week. I don't drink alcohol and I don't go to bars or do happy hour, so if this is something you enjoy doing we probably wouldn't be a match. I'm thinkin' this is where I lose most of you....

I can be content at home reading a book or watching a movie, listening to music or trying out a new recipe. But, I also enjoy many activities too. There are lots of things to do and see in the Pacific NW and I haven't seen (or done) much of it since moving here 3.5 years ago. There are 3 things on my list of things to do someday: I want to learn to ride a motorcycle, I want to learn to play an instrument (drums would be my 1st choice, then either keyboard or guitar), and I want to hold a baby tiger. Are you someone who can help make any or all of these happen?

My life is simple... no drama & no chaos. And I am definitley NOT high maintenance. I strive for balance & serenity each day and for the most part I am sucessful.

I enjoy bike riding, walking & hiking, antique stores & garage sales, book stores, clearance sales, good coffee, weekend getaways or roadtrips, cuddling up to watch a movie, dinners out & in, good conversation, music (& karaoke if I'm feeling brave), my 2 cats, I love tigers & other big cats, and of course I love to laugh!! I have a good sense of humor... maybe a little warped or sarcastic, but hey, it's all in fun, right? My goal is to make people laugh :) I'm sure there are more things to add to what I like, but maybe you haven't shown me yet!

As for music, I have a collection of CD's that probably doesn't make any sense! It includes a WIDE variety of music, anything from Melissa Etheridge, Gin Blossoms, Dr. Hook, Neil Diamond, LIVE, Elvis, 70's music, PINK, Matchbox 20, Journey, Reba McIntyer, Black Crows, TESLA and 10,000 maniacs. Yea, it's all over the place! My very 1st concert was "3 Dog Night" when I was in the 3rd grade! What a great time (my dad took me!). I love live music & concerts... actually I enjoy all kinds of music but it depends on what I'm doing and who I'm with :) (no rap please... that isn't music)

For a first date I would be willing to meet for coffee at a location in between my home & your home. Hopefully we connect on some level...
