I'm a down to earth easygoing guy who lives a healthy active lifestyle. I eat healthy but am not fanatical about it, after all it's not about denial but about moderation and I have no intention of giving up dark chocolate or cheese cake! My friends describe me as a really great caring person with a lot of integrity, and seem to think I would make a great catch. I enjoy living out of my kayak for several days, hiking, x-country skiing and snow shoeing - pretty much anything that gets me out in nature where my soul finds peace and comfort and I seem to remain forever young. I stay in shape through martial arts and working out and for the past year I've been taking ballroom dance lessons and would hope to meet someone who would also love to learn some dance steps along with me. I like to read and love curling up to relax to a good movie. I enjoy warm hugs and holding hands together while walking or watching a sunset. I also enjoy, in equal amounts, evenings together locked in deep intellectual conversation over dinner or just quietly spending time together not talking, but simply enjoying the presence and proximity of each other while engaged in our own private pursuits. I'm seeking a woman who also enjoys the activities I do and who can at the same time be the intimate love of my life as well as my best friend and partner in crime - in other words someone who would compliment me (I don't need someone to complete me as that's something we both have done on our own) and who would like to share in exploring together this incredible Island we find ourselves living on.
