I'm a native Montreal girl, but also a university student at Bishops in Sherbrooke (well... Lennoxville, actually). I'm 100% Italian and unfailingly proud of my heritage - I've got blood from Napoli, Rome, Montelongo, Campobasso, and probably a few mountain villages that don't exist any more. Though I'm only 19, people tell me I look and act older than I am, and I guess that's true. I've always had older friends, so I guess I grew up faster than most people might - I turned out alright, what do you think? But I'm still kind of short, so that tends to give my age away, I guess. I've worn heels since I was 12 years old, to cope with the height thing. So really... I'm like... 5'9. Haha ;) I wish. I speak English, conversational French and conversational Japanese, and I'm trying to learn Italian.
I have a wide range of tastes when it comes to how I spend my time; I am equally as happy to spend a night out clubbing till 4am as I would be thrilled to spend a quiet night in with a book or watching a movie, or writing, painting, drawing, or chatting over coffee. I adore working with kids (especially ages 3-5!), and in a few years will be a full time high school English teacher!
I'm a vehement supporter of the organization Students For A Free Tibet; this is a cause that I would give my life for (message me if you've got questions, join the cause!). I am incredibly passionate and stand my ground when challenged, if you cross my family or friends, you'll be sorry. Other than that I'm a really nice person and will do anything for the ones I love.
I'm talkative (oh, couldn't you tell?), easygoing, a bit rediculous, a joker, protective, I have a natural maternal instinct that can come on strong (I guess that could be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on you!). I don't watch much tv, but when I do, I watch a lot of stand-up and shows on the Discovery/History channels.
I've learned that touch (not just sexual, get that out of your mind!) is a very important thing to me. I love/need to touch who I'm talking to, just their arm, or their shoulder; it brings a more intimate, bare and honest feeling to the relationship I have with my friends or romantic partners.
I listen to a wide variety of music, some of it is strange and foreign but I love it all the same, from classical to Japanese shock-rock (heavy metal, visual Kei, screamo), or DDR tracks, Korean hip-hop, African tribal beats, Iranian dance, trance, house, even to Bollywood tracks and Sinatra (ohh, Sinatra, slays me every time). Try me, I'll listen to anything and everything, and you might even learn a little something from me.

Hmm... first dates are always tricky, it depends on who I'm with! I'm the kind of person who would love to spend hours just walking hand-in-hand in the city, hopping from local restaurants or shisha bars or coffee houses with no end in sight! I thrive on conversation (I could stay up all night and chat with you) and finding out common threads between myself and that one other person. I suppose, my ideal first date would involve walking (or taking the metro/bus) all around the city, exploring its intricacies with someone who also thrives on good conversation. That way, if there isn't much of a romantic click, we've each met a good person and a good friend :)
