This is pretty dry and informative--it's my first time doing this--I'll work on being clever later.

I am new to LA. I just moved here from Florida. I moved to LA for work, and I currently am heading up a small Internet firm.

I'm an attentive, funny, and reasonably bright guy with a good sense of who I am. My take is that anything worth doing is worth doing well, so I strive for excellence in what I do (and to whom I do it). I'm a pretty successful and well-liked executive in my profession. I tried a lot of things before I settled on this one. I was a chef--I served in the Coast Guard where I cleaned up oil spills and enforced the law of the land--I've waited tables--built mobile homes--and managed laboratories. I really love what I do now, which is help Internet companies grow from little companies into big ones.

At the moment, I am spending most of my time at work, at the movies, on a quest for the perfect cheeseburger, or at the gym--I can frequently be found trying to kill myself on the stairs in Santa Monica. I don't drink, and I don't smoke--life is short enough as it is.

My goals are to be the best father that I can to my son and to be the best possible professional mentor to my staff. I would really like to find an awesome woman to share my life with.

My taste in music is eclectic, but I listen to KROQ. My favorite band is either Shriekback or Del Amitri--depending on the day.
