I am easygoing and extremely loyal to those close to me. I'm very curious and try to understand people's motivations and perceptions, it's helped me become a good listener and very patient. The only thing that has been known to interfere with listening is my drive to help fix problems. I'm definitely a romantic, but feel surprises are more genuine than something predictable on Feb14.

Professionally I am very driven and love to be challenged. I've been known to do math problems for fun, and love learning new ways to do things. My work is important to me but I also recognize the importance of balance and spending time with those I care about. I appreciate that most people don't share my passion for electronics, so don't worry if to you C++ is "almost a B-" or a transformer is an alien robot.

I enjoy going for walks to nowhere in particular, catching a movie or debating if we'll end up enslaved or empowered by our technology.

I LOVE food! I like trying different restaurants and types of food and when I'm feeling ambitious making new dishes myself. Don't take me for a food snob though, gourmet still comes second to good home made.

I've noticed a lot of people here are really serious about travel. I used to be somewhat indifferent but I've had the good fortune of being sent globe trotting once or twice with my work and enjoy sharing my experiences and hearing about the (mis?)adventures of others.

I have a pretty varied sense of humor, usually more witty than immature and despite the C++ comment, rarely about programming. I am open and honest and don't do mind games unless they involve algebra. So, if you appreciate a dry sense of humor and bit of nerdy (mostly intellectual, not much star-trek) discussion drop me a line. I'm at the point in my life where I am looking to start a relationship with the hopes it becomes something more, but I'm not in a hurry either.
