Hey,

So I've tried this site before, it's not bad. I'm a university student who occasionally works to support my filthy habits of video gaming, hanging with my buddies, and reading. Yes, I love to read! No joke.

I grew up with a lower class family that was hell bent on discovering new technology. As a result, I've totally gone man of the wilderness. It's weird, but totally cool. I realize someone on here saying they love the outdoors is as common as someone saying they like food. It's obvious, but there's a difference between liking your big macs and liking your honey-apple glazed bison burger. I mainly love to hike, I'm usually typing or listening to music, or occasionally browsing the web so anytime I can get out and hit the trails is blissful to me. I don't mind hiking in the fall, winter, or spring either. I just dig nature.

On top of being a talented and yet poor student, I'm also a talented and yet poor musician. I'm a mash up artist to be exact. Taking music, mashing it with popular culture from my laptop. I use everything from Run DMC to Weezer. I'm not in it for money or fame either, totally in it to express myself and to break down barriers. Sounds simple to me.

I study communications. So my casual love of film and music is being tainted by readings by Foucault and Marx. Still, while I can't bear to watch CSI, I love watching Two and a Half Men (Horrible guilty pleasure right?) I'm also a big fan of Dexter, Mad Men, and The Colbert Report. I only listen to CBC radio 3, and if I find a song I like I add it to my itunes library of Weezer, Sonic Youth, and Broken Social Scene.

I like going to folk fairs, getting drunk on the skytrain, listening to concert dvds with surround sound headsets, walking along main or commercial, snowboarding, and going to see shows at the orchestra.

This is all I feel like putting for now, message me if you want to chit chat about stuff we like. Or we can chat about stuff we hate. Both are reasonable topics. Just please, in a sign of semi-respect, don't write a word with one letter repeating; stuff like "hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii woooooooould youuuuu like to chat about our luuuvvvv of chhiiili" it sounds as whiney in message form as it does in person. Plus, please get "Affect" and "Effect" right. those two are totally funny to see, and i won't hate on you but rather show some slight dissapointment.

I'm not putting coffee, I know that's what's expected but I would rather go on a hike, go shopping for groceries, or get a bubble tea. Just please no coffee! I for some reason envision the 90's grunge dating scene ala Singles where everyone chills over coffee.
