Hmm...I, honestly, don't know what to write. Reasons being that I never want to 'pump my own tires' and believe that conversation is the natural approach to getting to know someone. But, if you insist (*she says trying to untwist her arm*), here are a few 'tidbits' about me that might give you a glimpse of who I am.

Full-heartedly, I enjoy trying new things and pushing myself to the limits, including: physical tasks (i.e., rock climbing, white water rafting, triathlons, roller derby, boxing) and mental activities (i.e., passing a certification exam, enrolling in a class, learning a new language). I constantly strive to be a better person and would, honestly, bounce off the walls with glee if someone wanted to share these experiences with me. The more the merrier...

I truly LOVE to travel and will be experiencing other cultures for the majority of 2010. In late January, I will be traveling to Korea for 2 and a half weeks and then off to Europe in April for about a month. A trip is also in the works to the Philippines.

I currently do not own a television and prefer to listen to live music / performances, watch a hockey game at the Brandt Centre, or visit with friends.

Goals and aspirations? Well, I know I'll never been done with education so, I guess my never ending goal is to learn as much as possible.

I'm told I have a terrific sense of humor, can see the bright side of any situation, and am patient and reliable. I'm there for people when they need me. I never get mad (seriously!) and treat everyone I meet with dignity and respect. I value the little things in life and face tough challenges head-on. I am also extremely career-oriented and am financially secure.

Unique? Geez... that's a tough one! I have a few qualities I could throw in here but might leave them as a discussion topic for a future conversation.

I know they didn't ask for this but I'm going to be sneaky and throw it in here: what am I looking for in a guy? Initially, my knee-jerk reaction was three-fold: 1) he needed to have a pulse; 2) he could support himself financially; and 3) did I mention he needed to have a pulse? As time has passed, I've put a few more standards in the mix (I know, I know...) and need someone who is passionate about life, sees the bright side in all situations, and knows what they want. I'm not out there to change anyone and refuse to play games. You'll get honesty from me 100% of the time. Yes, you read those last two sentences correctly.
