hi. my name is michiel. it's dutch, but i've lived in the US since i was 4. right now I live on my boat and i love it. i'm pretty active. i play soccer twice a week. i live simply. i'm going back to school to become a teacher eventually. i love my family. i play classical/spanish/baroque guitar. i have a lot of other interests and activities- surfing, sailing, snowboarding, running, golf, astronomy, exercise. i enjoy fixing things. i have lame taste in music unfortunately.

i'm thinking bobbing for apples. maybe jousting. sky-diving would be cool, but i don't think i can really afford that for a first date. i would consider roller blading.
