I’m a 35-year young lady living in the South end of the city. I’m 5’4”, of average build with mysterious brown eyes and a smile that can lighten up even the darkest room. I have a full-time job with the government, and am also a fulltime Mom to a beautiful bright-eyed four-year-old boy.

In random order, some of my favourite things are: spending time with my son, love love LOVE spicy food, laughing out loud 'til it hurts, culinary delights (translation: I like to cook), faded jeans, daisies & sunflowers, the smell of freshcut grass, gardening (and just about any other outdoor activity), dogs, motorcycles (don't have one, just like 'em), a good book accompanied by a nice glass of wine (I'm a voracious reader), crosswords, long bubble baths, candlelit dinners, engaging intellectual conversation and a good, I mean GOOD, cup of coffee (I'm not talking Kopi Luwak, more along the lines of Jamaican Blue Mountain). I'm not a big sports fan, but I have also taken a liking to hockey thanks to a friend who insisted I join his hockey pool last year, and surprise! I came in third out of about 50 (mostly male) hockey pool junkies... Yippee ;-)

In my free time I'm either working on my house and/or garden, playing with my son, doing something physical (or any combination of the forementioned three), hanging out with friends, cooking up a storm, or immersed in a book.

I'm of S.American, European and Franco-Ontarian descent, and speak Spanish, French and English fluently. I was raised Catholic, and while I play hooky the occasional Sunday morning (a girl needs her beauty sleep once in a while!), I'm doing my best to raise my son the same way. I'm open-minded and eager to learn about all things (people, places, cultures, etc), and not afraid of new experiences.

I am looking for an intelligent, unattached gentleman who appreciates a home cooked meal as well as a loving and caring woman with a passion for family and friends. You enjoy a good movie(or bad), live music, canoeing and camping, travel, live theatre, billiards(OK pool!) and darts(beer optional). A sense of humour is appreciated, as is the ability to carry on intelligent conversation; proper spelling counts for automatic brownie points! You take pride in your personal hygiene and overall wellness, and are emotionally, mentally and financially stable. You also have an appreciation for the game of baseball and its rules…”You can’t get to home plate without crossing all the bases” ;-)

update: probably a good thing if you like dogs too... a retriever/rottweiler mix has just joined my family. I like cats, but allergies get in the way.
