I am just out of a 15 year marriage and am looking to get my feet wet in the dating pool. I am interested in a woman who is independent, funny and who I find attractive. I do not buy into the Vogue idea of beauty. I firmly believe that the beauty of people shows through their skin like a beacon. I don't care about the package, I care about the present inside. For the right girl I would move heaven and earth. I am on a serious search to find out who that right girl is.
Independence is important. How can you find your way with a partner if you do not know where you are going? I really like the idea of walking beside one another. The path we travel is so rocky and dangerous, I want to be there to catch you and I want someone to be there to catch me (figuratively).

I do believe that you are out there, and I will search the virtual world to find you. If you are not her, that is ok, but what a great ride you are missing out on.

Finally, If you are looking for a husband in the next 12 month, I am not him. If you are looking for a man to support you financially, I am not him. If you are looking for interesting conversation, a door held open for you and a genuinely nice person, I AM him.

I like first dates to be in neutral, public places. I like to spend our time together talking and relaxing, rather than rushing to a show or concert (plenty of time for that later). If we could be near some water, or other natural phenomena, that would be a plus as well.
