I have a fun personality and am a social person. I have a silly, infectious sense of humor once we get to know each other. I've raised a daughter whom I'm still very close with who lives in Santa Cruz and attends college there. Now that she’s on her own I’m exploring all sorts of options in my life. I'm very active and love working out 5 times a week with some activity on the weekends as well. I cannot stress how important it is that the man in my life makes regular fitness a priority as well. If you have a motorcycle, that’s a plus (if you are an experienced rider). I also like boating, taking my mountain bike out, which I need to do more often, and I love going on hikes. We have so many great coastal areas in the bay to explore. I enjoy trying new sports and taking on challenges. I'd like to rock climb, and kayak more. I just went skydiving for the first time in September and loved it! I love getting dressed up and going to a nice dinner or event, or getting cozy at home. I love Sunday’s at home cooking something great for dinner and watching old movies. It’s important to have a balanced, grounded life. I’m a creative person. Have painted on rock n roll sets for tours and for interior designers but have found a love of writing more recently which I’m pursuing.
I’m a positive, happy person and have like minded people in my life. One thing will never change and that’s my love of all things creative, adventurous and expressive. I'm also a huge hockey fan and got into watching the Red Wings more than ever, since I'm a Michigan girl. Don't get me wrong, I like the Sharks too but picking a side,...I'd have to go with my Red Wings.

I think that a first date should be casual and during the day on a weekend when everyone is relaxed. Too much pressure when it's dinner out for the first time. Perhaps a walk in Sausalito? The Marina in San Francisco? Easy going. See if there's a spark,...some mutual interest. Chemistry.
