Pretty new into the single life, but comfortable with where I am and what I'm looking for.

And that would be? Looking for fun, looking for love, ideally finding both, one of these days.

What do I like to do? Learning is pretty close to the top of the list: traveling, school, reading, talking with interesting people. I also stay fairly active, mostly with bicycling and yoga. If the weather's really not cooperating, I might settle for a crossword puzzle.

What do people say about me when they meet me (besides that I look and act just like Hugh Grant, which is actually kinda sorta true :-)? I'm smart, I'm funny, and I'm youthful.

Things I like to do with a female companion? Experience new things. Experience common and comfortable things. I'm a huge fan of the three C's: cooking, conversation, and of course cuddling. (I mean, who doesn't like cuddling? I guess that's a little obvious). I'm not a huge outdoorsman or sports fan, but I do like hiking, biking, camping, and sailing.

Favorite music? You name it, although I tend towards alternative (think Franz Ferdinand and Death Cab for Cutie). Favorite movies? "Moulin Rouge" and "The Piano". Can you tell I'm a bit of a romantic?

Do I have a type of woman who catches my eye? Well, a good smile and laugh are obvious prerequisites. But mostly looking for someone who can carry on a conversation. About anything. I love to learn (see above).

I am a terrific listener. I do it well in my job and in my relationships. And I'm a good friend. Even if we don't work out as soulmates (what are the odds?), you may make a lasting friend.

Not much of a coffee or tea drinker, so I'd have to opt for a beer or glass of wine. If totally adventurous, it would be me cooking dinner for you, at your place or mine. Or you could do the cooking; I'm flexible!
