I feel that I'm the girl next door with a bit of a naughty streak in private. I can be goofy at times, but I can also be serious, attentive and understand those SAT vocabulary words in conversation. You can bring me home to meet Mom and Dad, to hang out with you and your friends, and then home for some quality alone time. I'm at a point in my life where I am looking to enjoy the day to day company of a real man rather than just a quick hook up.

If you aren't smiling in your pictures, then we're probably not going to get along! I like to have fun in just about every situation and tend to focus on the positive. I am caring, affectionate and quick to laugh. I am the type of person that will start a conversation with just about everyone.

My ideal guy would be attractive, positive and secure with who he is and what he wants from a relationship as well as life. I think that we should share some common interests but I'm always up for learning something new. I need someone who is available to spend time with me, but also has some time for guys' nights for when I'm out with my friends or kids (a son-16 and a daughter-12).

After the end of a 17 year marriage I have plenty of insight as to what is needed for a successful relationship. I got married pretty early in life and don't have any regrets. I am ready to move on and enjoy my next round of adventures with a great partner. My experiences have not made me bitter. They have actually made me more attuned to what I want and need from a partner and relationship-so you will not hear any rantings about lying and cheating from me (nor do I engage in those things myself).

I go to the gym just about every day, but don't obsess. I am always trying to train for a new challenge (currently a half marathon).

Listen to live music, talk a walk, spin class, lunch or just drinks. Some activity where we can talk and get to know one another and see if there is chemistry. If we can do this while being active....all the better!
