Allow myself to introduce...... myself.

I'm a mostly domesticated man with just enough rough edges left to make me fun.

Me, I'm a guy and I have been known to do stupid guy things that were preceded with "Hey, watch this....."

I have that need to see the world through my own eyes, even if they are looking through glasses with a little but of cynical on the lenses, but love when I am proved to be wrong.

I have a true love for most music, and have what some would call an oddly large collection. Ska to old Jazz, The Finn Brothers to Bauhaus, Opera to Funk, Southern Rock to Ravel, you name it I probably have it somewhere. The thought of people who don't fill their lives with music makes me shake my very large head.

I enjoy movies and consider myself a bit of a movie geek.

I can not only cook but I enjoy it, but like the more enjoyable things in life, it's more fun when it's done with somebody else.

I have a big one.






Now that I have your full attention, I'll clarify that last statement. I have a huge bucket list and enjoy crossing things off it. I have enjoyed things like walking into the doors in Europe because I can't figure out how to read the sign that says pull, falling off a motorcycle doing 70 kmh across country and thinking wow that was fun I think it's time to do that again just as soon as the hurt stops or I can breath again, or being able to say "that was a lot bigger than it looked". Having somebody to act as a witness, or preferably an accomplice, to some of these things would be nice.

I clean up well. Though I can usually be found in clean well kept jeans and a t shirt, I can almost instantly be dropped into any social scene and blend in with little more than a trip to the closet and a quick run of the fingers through my hair. This comes in handy for times like meeting the Governor General, reunions or the ever dreaded family wedding. But be forewarned, I wish I could dance as well as Elaine.

On the topic of dance, I would like to learn a little Ball Room. Just throwing it out there.

I'm good with my hands. I can open tight jars, swing a hammer, drywall and fix cars.

Wandering around a foreign country just on the outskirts of that place called lost beats the resort, but at the same time, if you only need to recharge and only have a week, ola.

I spend a lot of time working in the great outdoors and as a result, I'm not at all a fan of the whole cottage thing. I don't understand it and never think I will.

Ideally you are a self reliant woman with a love for life that likes when a man holds a door open for you. You don't burst into tears at the thought of your car breaking down, but will give a guy a chance to be gallant and a kiss on the cheek when he fixes it or rescues you.
