Sincere, Genuine, Real, Expressive, Honest, Caring and Decent all describe me according to friends and family. I try to not just talk the talk, but walk the talk and I hope you do, too. If you possess similar characteristics, I would sincerely love to hear from you.
My pictures are recent (autumn 2009 and Dec 09) and I hope yours are recent, too.
If you are looking for someone to hook up with for the night, I am not she. Nor am I into men who romance women only until they get what they want. You will reveal your true nature anyway but please have the common courtesy and decency to not waste my time discovering those true colours if your intentions are less than honourable.
As a romantic with her feet firmly on the ground, I'm known for my innate sense of justice, conscientiousness and loyalty. Laughter and good, clean fun are high on my list of life priorities. Music inspires me and I might suddenly burst into dance - (not in public, you understand :) - or drag you to the nearest park at midnight so we can say goodnight to the stars. (ok, you don't have to do it but it would be nice if you held my hand, lol)
Laughter and great conversation are two of the easiest gifts we humans can give one another. As a decent conversationalist, I have found listening well is one of the ways I can truly value others. All too often we humans are so interested in what we have to say that it is easy to forget the true gift lies in listening.
Musically, I have a chameleon ear, I like everything from easy listening and classic rock through to some country or classical (Koyunbaba is a great classical guitar piece)along with folk, blues, world music, 60's (the BEST driving tunes), 70's to 80's music and more, but no hip hop or rap fan. Grew up with brothers into the Stones, Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, etc, know all the words to all of those songs and because my father was a country music musician, I know a lot of the words to Johnny Cash and Hank Snow songs, too. Whatever moves me is what I like.
My favorite play is Les Miserables (saw it three times, yes 3, lol)and I enjoy good movies (The Red Violin; The Diving Bell and the Butterfly; Impromptu; The Motorcycle Diaries; Amalie; Silence of the North; The Goodbye Girl; To Kill a Mockingbird; Midnight Cowboy to name just a few). Not much on TV save for the fact that on the rare occasion I channel surf, I often wonder who is in charge of TV, or if anyone is at all :) Mine is usually only turned on 3X a week when I do my DVD work out.
Have fun on here, I believe every rejection moves us closer to the people we're supposed to connect with.
Thanks for your interest and if you are leaving now, all the best on POF!
