| | All that is gold does not glitter...not all those who wander are lost!
Hmmm...have you ever had moments when you're really lost for words?? I mean, I've re-written this profile message a few times and have come to realize, like so many, they all start to blend in like the others! What makes one person unique from the next? I'm sure there's plenty and yet, it's those brief moments in connectivity and trust that we relinquish our own uniqueness. It is in those moments, I/we hope, the one seeing it for their own very first time acknowledges that it is amazing, unique and wonderful. Kind of like a breath of fresh air!
I've also come to realize that there's so much from our past that makes us who we are today! I am a product from a beautiful family...no, we weren't the Waltons or the Jones'! My family was connected by parents who truly led by example but just ordinary people! Ordinary people who worked hard, played well together, knew the value of a dollar, laughed, cried, gave generously, accepted a hand-up when one was needed, fought/disagreed and forgave, a deep faith in God, made family traditions, kept secrets and lent a shoulder to cry on...just to name a few! At the end of each day, I realize it was my fine family who helped mold me into the woman that I am today...I am very grateful! And while the foundation was wonderful, I have sifted out and brought new ideals into my life to make my own a little more original.
So, on that note---I am lots of fun, smart, witty, charming, outgoing, compassionate, creative, sensitive, a LITTLE sassy, hard working (and have something to show for it), appreciate the great outdoors, enjoy travel (even in Canada's playland), enjoy most music genres, have the ability to accessorize (it's what separates us from the animals you know!!! LOL!), confident, goal-oriented and yes, likely somewhat independent!! ;) I enjoy a good cup of coffee and a good book. I enjoy a fine glass of wine and good company. I have a fascination for old architecture! I love capturing moments on camera! I enjoy hosting good times with friends & family...right from drinks on the deck to backyard BBQs to lovely sit-down dinners! Family is very important to me! Wonderful friendships are priceless!
In any case, you've gotten this far...what more can I say...oh yes...I like the idea of "joy shared is joy doubled, sorrow shared is sorrow halved"!
