I love to bicycle ride. I used to ride to Wisconsin & back but now I do not have that much time. I like long walks with my dogs, laughing, good conversations, nature, hiking, national parks, swimming, boating, outside concerts, music, dancing, restaurants, wine, Chicago lakefront, Bear's football games, friendly political debates, volunteering, going to see a play, reading non fiction books, PBS & the BBC news & watching lighting storms roll in. I like to get dressed up & I like to wear my jeans with holes in the knee when I walk the dogs. I have a fierce love for dogs. I like dinner & a movie in the winter or renting a movie in the winter. I believe I'm a friendly outgoing, intelligent, compassionate person. I have a good sense of humor with friendly sarcasim. I'm independent, dependable & loyal(I've been hanging around my dogs to long) I'm very close with my family & love spending time with them & my nephews & niece. I don't know how to cook nor do I want to. I'm not lonely, just like to care about someone more than myself.

I fell in love for the first & only time in my life with a wonderful man for nine short years until he passed away four years ago. It's been a hard road back but I was lucky & blessed to have him in my life. He will always live on in my heart & memories. Now it is time to go out in the dating world again & friends thought I should try this site out. I have never been on a dating service before but am giving it a try. Would like to start out slow & if I get to be in love twice in life that would be great & if not that is ok too.
