I moved to Dallas about 17 years ago from Norman Oklahoma. (Yes I’m a Sooner). I have been divorced for about 9 months. I have two grown boys not living with me. One in med school and one in chef school.

I'm not sure if this online dating thing is for me but I thought I would give it a try. I enjoy meeting people and making friends but the whole dating scenario is sometimes difficult. I prefer to just hang out and be down to earth and casual but with dating sometimes people are trying to impress you or just not being themselves. I know I have been guilty of this myself.lol

I am an adventurer and have traveled quite extensively and even lived in Italy and other parts of Europe part time for about 5 years or so. I have the traveling bug and can never get enough so if you don’t like to travel we probably are not a good match. I have always thought this is kinda weird, trying to define yourself in a few sentences when we know it would take a whole book. So that’s the basics. There is a lot more to know but that’s the fun of talking and sharing information with each other.

I am not into endless emailing, texting and chatting. After a few exchanges I prefer to meet to see if there is any chemistry. I like something casual like a glass of wine or Starbucks, drinks can't hurt anyone. Now as for actual dates I can be very creative. It’s all a matter of getting to know each other and your common interests and then being creative from there. It could be an out of the way restaurant, candlelight dinner for two, a picnic or beer and burgers.
