My hobbies include listening to all kinds of music, spending time outdoors: biking, camping, taking my 8 month old chocolate lab puppy for a walk or for a swim, tennis, hitting golf balls at Top Golf.
I would like to learn how to fly, play the piano, speak a foreign language, travel around the US and the world.
I'm a hard-working professional, but not a workaholic. My 9 year-old son, 12 year-old daughter, friends and family are the most important people in my life. I am a time and touch individual. I like to learn new things and hear other perspectives---I am open to new ideas and opinions---I am flexible and open-minded, passionate about some things and indifferent about others. Even though I'm a Taurus, I'm not that bull-headed or stubborn (just a little). My music tastes include jazz, blues, salsa, country, electronic....I will listen to some pop music, but mostly I prefer eclectic styles.

The three things that I look for in a woman are: strong sense of attitude (confidence), style and depth---she must be able to see the forest through the trees. I like a woman who can challenge me mentally, but also keep up with me physically. I will treat a woman with dignity and respect. I can be old-fashioned at times, but desire a women who has a progressive mindset.

I can stay in to cook dinner & watch a movie or get dressed up and go out to hear live music/dancing at a nightclub.

Meet for coffee or a drink first...each of us must pass the initial 10 second physical attraction test. Is he/she cute? If yes, move on to personality. If he/she passes the personality test, then we can move on to arranging the first date, which would include a trip to a festival of some sort. Something casual, laid back, no expectations. The traditional dinner/movie-first date does not interest me. If the first date goes well, I would offer to cook dinner.
