Hi. I like to laugh and have a good time. Some of my favorite comedians are: Brett Butler, Rita Rutner, Stephen Lynch, Paul Rodriquez, Diane Ford. I love humor and to joke around. I am a single mother and I spend a lot of time with my son, and take the responsiblity of being a parent very seriously. I like to cook, sew, listen to music, watch movies, take my son places-zoos, aquariums, hiking, fishing, gator park, etc. He's a boy and has been raised to be one with all the critters involved. He loves to bring them home.

I like to learn new things. I have 6-1/2 years of higher education. And I think you can never learn to much. I have a very curious nature and am extremely independant. I want someone that I can talk to; I think communication is very important no matter what the relationship is. I am extremely affectionate and want someone that not only likes to get it, but gives it as well. I believe in honesty and loyalty and I do expect it in return. I am very FAMILY orientated.

Have you ever heard the song, "Good Hearted Man", by Tift Merritt?? That's what I'm looking for. I have come across a lot of men, that like the thought of having someone in their life, but only at their convience. The biggest problem with this is, it generally doesn't work very long. Relationships take two to make them work. I'm willing to put in the time and energy to make it work. Are you?? I have a great job, and one that I enjoy completely. And I make a decent living. I want to have a man in my life, I don't have to have one support me financially. And I want a man that wants to have someone in his life to share the ups and downs; not just one for when it's his convience and to suit him. Too many have had been around people (men & women) that are like this. Only after what suits them. Well, I'm not that way, and never will be. Trust is something that takes time, but relationships require that you put the first step in and the desire to see if it's going to work out. Are you up to the first step and the effort to do so?? I am.

Note: I have started classes and am going for my Master's Degree in Accounting. So I will be busy with that, but that doesn't mean I would not have some time, will have to make it, for the right guy. Will not have time for games or your drama. So if you're not serious, do both of us a favor, and move on. I'm not the girl for you. I love to have fun, and am not hard to get along with, but I'm not interested in all the carrying on of what past girlfriends (or wives) did, yes I care. But I am NOT her, and not responsible for what she did, just as you are not responsible for what my past boyfriends have done. If you're not over it, move on. Have no time for that. If you want someone that doesn't respect you, care about you, only wants to you use you, I'm not what you are looking for. Have heard lots say and complain about women like this, but they say they don't want that. But that's not the case. I'm not like that, and not going to be like that just to keep a man.
