I get along well with most people. More so w self-confident people that feel comfortable interacting with others in social settings without feeling insecure, vulnerable or jaded. I have high standards that I've set for myself in regards to work and my personal life.

I'm pretty fond of both high and low culture. I can see a matinee at the Met, then catch "The Hangover" at a midnight show. I'm a dillettante when it comes to music, listening to stuff I like but knowing very little about it. But I'm always willing to learn, so feel free to show off if you know more than I do ... which you probably will. Same goes for art.

I'm a very lucky person. I'm fortunate to have tons of amazing friends, an incredible family, a job that's satisfying and gratifying and passions that drive me. I'm healthy, happy and make enough money to travel to exotic lands once or twice a year. As I've said, I'm a very lucky person. My life is nearly perfect. I say "nearly perfect" because I want someone to share it with, again. Undoubtedly, the best and worst aspect of having been in love before is that you know what it feels like.

I try, as much as possible, to treat others the way I would want to be treated. I pride myself on being the strong compassionate type, understanding that there is a time to take charge and a time to just let things take their natural course. I like to listen to others and really be considerate of their feelings and values. For me it feels good to provide help or assistance without having to be being asked.
