Hi! I am a single mom of 2 teenagers (ugh!!) One 19 (girl) and the other 16 (boy). They are my pride and joy.. (Most days) Also a source of gray hair and wrinkles... LOL.. I love animals. We have 3 horses, Stormy, Boo, & Horse, 2 dogs, Christie & Aurora, 1 princess kitty, Sheba and Izzy the Red Tailed Boa.. I am in the transitional phase of being just mom to learning about myself as a woman.. It is an amazing journey. Of course I will always be a mom but it is cool to realize I'm so much more.. I have a broad spectrum of interests and am looking forward to adding to my list. I can be a bit of a closet nerd and slightly eccentric.. For example.. I metal detect and enjoy digging really old farm dumps. I love old bottles and relics. Devoted US History addict, especially antebellum south, civil war, gold rush, frontier life. I am very affectionate, sweet, and love to have fun. I have a slightly twisted sense of humor. I am a lady and a tom boy, too. I can be elegant or have a snow ball fight with you.. I love horse racing, football, dirt track races, and truck pulls. I'm a heck of a cook, too. Morning is my favorite time. (I must have my coffe tho..LOL) I am rarely grumpy or moody. the glass is 1/2 full kinda girl.. I like most types of music except gansta rap..Ick.. I have everything from Metallica - Johnny Cash. Most of all I am country girl though and through.. Please no drama or mean people.


I am not looking for one night stands or marriage (not opposed to it either). I would like to be friends first and see what happens from there. Eventually I want to meet that special someone who can make little heart go pitter patter, my knees go weak and my toes curl.. The perfect summary of what I am looking for is a blend of Metallica's Nothing Else Matters and My Best Friend by Tim McGraw. Mmm... Gosh... This is a hard one... One of the biggest reasons I chose the internet Dating thing was to meet new people, make new friends and to have a chance to learn new things. So I am looking forward to trying things that I haven't tried before. We could have a standard "Meet & Greet" at a public place, restaurant or coffee shop... So we both could be comfortable. A nice way to get to know each other better without worries of hurt feelings if there was no "spark". But say... we have done a lot of chatting online and on the phone and are already some what comfortable with each other... Who knows the possibilities are endless.
