I have eclectic interests. I'm making an effort to "reduce/reuse/recycle" as much as possible. I try to eat healthy and organic and avoid fast food and soda. I love coffee though - gotta have it! I'm a reformed couch potato, so I don't have the TV on much anymore, although I am a long-time fan of "Survivor" and "Lost". I try to work out five times a week, usually Pilates, weights & some running on the treadmill. I'm certainly no athlete, but I am healthy and feel like I'm in better shape now than I was 10 years ago. As far as goals/aspirations, I have many. I live in a conservative county, and there's many things that I'm working on through my job that may break some barriers. I'm involved in an initiative to bring wheelchair accessible community gardens to St. Charles, which is pretty unprecedented. My work is to promote total integration into every aspect of the community for people of all ability levels. I also have a few dreams of world traveling, which my experience has been limited to Canada, Russia and a brief stay in Germany. I would love to visit the Mayan ruins, drink wine and eat baguettes in Paris, visit the Parthenon, go white-water rafting, fly down a zipline above a Costa Rican rainforest, and visit Victoria Falls, to name a few. As far as music, I was raised on classic rock and Beethoven. I love to dance to 70s to current pop music. I don't particularly care for rap or alternative so much, but I do like jazz, blues & hiphop. I love going to festivals because of the European market-like atmosphere, the music and all the people. I love people-watching! I also love many different ethnic foods: Greek, Thai, Indian, Vietnamese, Afghani, Lebanese, Japanese, and the common Italian (although I try to avoid pasta), and Mexican. I find Chinese food boring, especially compared to Thai or Vietnamese. I do tend to ramble sometimes, as you probably can tell, but I ask a lot of questions and I'm interested in learning new things and ideas. I really am just interested in casual dating right now. I'm recently divorced and I have a 7 y.o. son for whom I have joint physical custody.

There's so many possibilities, but here's one: We could go out for sushi or Thai (or whatever, really), and then go to a comedy club to see if our "funny bones" connect. If the evening goes well and it's not already late, we could go dancing at a club or go for stroll by the river.
