About Me
I cultivate hobbies like a teenager, and in this I will probably never grow up. Drawing and painting, music, gardening, cooking, juggling, photography, luxury motorcycles, and writing poetry are a few of my favorite things. I'm very mature when it comes to things professional and intellectual, but am goofy and young at heart socially and emotionally. My goals and aspirations are distributed amidst many small moments each day. I work in a helping profession and as such enjoy the ongoing rewards of steady daily gains. Beyond that, to publish a poem in the New Yorker, travel to many more places, hang glide, and get it to where the woman in my life astounds me, just wows me at every turn. The thirties feel to me like being open to vigorous exploration yet refusing to settle for less than perfect.
