I met someone awesome so right now I'm really only looking to meet more friends, and to be honest I'm really not on this site very often lately.

I just moved to Portland from Louisville, Kentucky the end of October. So far I realy like it here.

I have a small dog (rat terrier) that I unfortunately had to leave with family in KY until I get more settled out here. I miss her very much.

As far as sports - I'm a HUGE Detroit Redwings fan, and would love to find more hockey fans in the area. I'd love to learn how to play. When I was younger I rode horses, played soccer and did gymnastics. I enjoy baseball games in person, but it's pretty boring on tv. I like football as well (Go Bengals).

I would love to meet some new friends to hang out and explore the city with. I'd especially love to meet people to watch hockey and go to Winterhawks games with. My roomate is vegan (and I am not) so most of the restaurants I've been to so far have been vegetarian. It would be nice to have some friends to eat out with who aren't going to freak out if I decide to order a steak on occasion.

My musical inclination tends toward indie and rock, but I try to remain open. I am not a fan of country music though.

Okay, I've received a few messages asking why I've chosen to move to Portland... so here goes...
I lived in southern CA (San Diego) for almost 10 years and then moved back to KY (I grew up in Louisville). I was in Louisville for more than 6 years and it's really just not where I want to be. So I started looking around for somewhere that I would want to move to instead. I enjoyed my time in San Diego, but I don't want to move back to southern CA. A friend of mine moved to Portland a couple years ago and I spent some time visiting over the summer.
