About Me
I keep on returning to this site because the price is right! I still have yet to find what I'm looking for as Bono once sang, and I realize that there's no guarantees that it might find you even if one tries. Regardless, I'm a fairly simple person, raised Catholic/Italian with good values, a great sense of humor, and A CAR!!!!!!! (Get in line ladies) Being single in your 40s is weird and almost unnatural. I always thought that at this time in my life the only things I would've had to worry about was my tomato garden and finding the right compromise w/the wife re: the thermostat. I am thankful however for my two wonderful kids. They give me strength and eternal hope - life is a blessing each day with them and it is a privilige to watch them grow into adults - who probably will reward me someday by putting me in a nursing home and visiting me only during holidays. My hobbies tend to be creative in nature. I write screenplays and have had a couple produced into full-length feature films. (One is completed - two are in pre-production stage) My first love is music. I write songs, play guitar, and warble out the occasional tune when inspired. My son plays incredible guitar, my daughter is picking up the piano like a musical savant, and I watch them and marvel/curse them all at the same time for their quick learning. As a teacher of high-school history, I can honestly say the kids never let me down. They can frustrate me at times but their openness and kindness impresses me to no end, year after year. It's a blast to see them when they are adults and recall the good experiences they had as your student. Summers off are pretty cool too.

First Date
For an ideal first date, it would probably involve dancing. Coffee dates are fine but the nervous energy is a bit much sometimes. A long nature walk is at the top of my list as well. I try to do 3 miles every day - it's great for relaxing and I would guess a good way to get to know someone. Anyone up for a nice stroll along the CT. riverwalk in Agawam?
filmbard has 2 roses that can be sent.
