For the most part, I'm pretty easily bored, so it seems like I'm always getting into hijinx and capers and what have you. It keeps life interesting, I think. I live in Mesquite now, but in a few months I'm going to be moving off to New Mexico. This, coupled with a recent long-term relationship ending, has tempered me frin moving into committed territory again anytime soon, but I'd honestly just like someone to hang out with. Movies, bookstores, comic shops, the occasional jaunt down to the pub for a few pints of something good, my life is pretty simple outside of work, and I like it that way.

I'm an aspiring writer, working on getting that first work published, but I guess first I have to write something I'm satisfied with. Thusly, conversations with me are usually pretty good, the only problem is, like I said, I bore kind of easily, so it's easier for me to talk to someone with something to say. No topic is off limits in any of my typical conversations. I'm sort of a jack of all trades, I pursue something when fascination catches my eye, and so I sorta know a little about everything, or at least I try. When I don't, I'm always up to learn.

I guess you could call me a hippy, although I don't really buy into that genre classification bullshit. I like jam bands, jazz and swing, Primus and just about anything else that catches my ear. Live shows are awesome, so long as the band doesn't suck. A fair warning though, most find my tastes in music a little...strange.

A good first date to me would be a pair of bikes and an all-day train pass. There's something about riding a bike that you can't get driving a car. Maybe pedal to a local eatery, down to the bar, to the movies, it really doesn't matter. Bonus points if the bike is a tandem.
