I swim on a Masters team and practice yoga both at home, locally and in NYC. Yoga and healthy living are a very important part of my life. I also play hockey and love to cook. I spend a ton of time with my kids and support them in their hobbies.

I've had some financial success and traveled a decent amount already in my life, so i'd like to continue on that path while I grow as a person both through self awareness and through experiences... looking to share experiences with a special someone.

I am a jack of all trades and am completely independent. I can cook, clean and run a house for me and my kids. Then I can also root for the Jets and fix heavy machinery (I have a Engineering degree but chose to go in to finance). However, I think my best quality is I have a genuine soft heart that despite many challenges has remained un-jaded.

I like a wide range of music. With a few drinks in me with the guys, definitely classic hard rock but reggie, folk rock, some jazz and classical are also on my play list. I've expanded my taste even more since getting satelite radio a few years ago.

I think the most important thing to do on your first date is just to communicate and be a gentleman. I don't care what we are doing, it's more important to see if there is a connection and learn about each other. If unsure, then a 2nd date would be great!
