I enjoy playing the Mountain Dulcimer, Guitar, Autoharp, Piano and Spoons! I've played with an old timey string band since the mid 80's. We play regularly at a local 1,000 seat auditorium. We've played in Branson at Silver Dollar City, at Mud Island in Memphis, and we even had our own music theater in Mountain Home for a couple of years... until we discovered that was WORK! and music should be FUN!

I love to dance the old time dances, waltzes, two-steps, contra-dance, etc. I live 10 miles from a very small town on the east side of the White River in the back woods. I can see no other signs of civilization from my property, but have seen many different kinds of animals: deer, turkey, bear, fox, bobcat, etc. I've lived in enough big cities to know that I love it out here in the Ozarks, and can't stay away from these hills for very long.

I'm learning to become more self-sufficient as I've been without electricity during the last few disasters (2 wks during the last Ice Storm!) So I save up water so I always have 30 gallons or so on hand for emergencies when the electricity goes out and the well pump stops working. I've gotten chickens for meat and eggs. I'm considering getting a pig in the spring for butchering next fall. I'd like to learn more about fishing, and hunting, and I never seem to tire of stories about the habits of animals.

My garden did better than I expected this year. I put up several quarts of home-made chili sauce from all the tomatoes and variety of peppers I raised... yum!

I just built a screen-room for summer-time sleeping outside. I'll be putting a stove and oven combo out there for summer-time cooking as well. When it's 95 degrees outside, who needs to heat the house more by cooking inside?!!

I intend, someday, to have an underground house because they're so economical to heat and cool, and they protect against the storms that seem to be getting worse as the climate changes.

I guess I'm a traditionalist and love a dominate man who enjoys taking control in the bedroom... (whispering) where I also enjoy a little kinky bondage play behind closed doors. Sh-h!

I'm 5'8" with short white hair, blue eyes and freckles. (I need to get an updated picture taken.) I enjoy a man with a few extra pounds and an inch or more taller than me.

For a first date, I would enjoy meeting for dinner and possibly a drink to help break the ice and loosen the tongue. Can you handle that? ...she asked coyly, batting her eyes?

I've also heard it said that doing something fun together on a first date is very revealing of each others personality. I could probably be talked into doing something more spontaneous. I like horse-back riding, canoeing, kayaking, amusement park rides, cave spelunking, haunted-house exploration, fire-tower climbing. If you play an instrument, we could always play a few tunes together. There's a few suggestions, but let's do what you're comfortable with.
