Just an ordinary fella living day to day. I'm an easy going SINGLE guy with my feet on the ground. I am 6'1" and large framed. Im told Im teddy bearish (whatever that means) I would like to meet someone who also is SINGLE and down to earth. I value honesty and integrity I will expect the same in return. Im not going to promise the world to anyone but I will give my all to someone who can be my friend and hopefully my lover. . Lets chat and see where it might lead.

I do not drink and am not a party animal. When Im off I love to fish, camp, swim, BBQ, boat, cook and relax. Im into politics and history of the 20th century (American as Im a LIBERAL American who still votes and is active in Democratic politics), (Yes I voted for Obama best Prez since FDR) read history especially late 1920's to 1950. 2 of my biggest heroes are FDR and Winston Churchill. Love sci-fi, MSNBC, CNN, BBC, National Geographic and Discovery Channels and yaaaay HBO is finally in Canada and am a movieholic lol.

I drive heavy trucks locally for a living and do alright at it. I will be Ice Road trucking soon as well.

I grew up on the Great Lakes and love Lake Huron and Lake Michigan with all my heart. I will someday be living on Lake Huron in a log house; meeting someone with the same love of the lakes would be great.

Im not trendy nor do I wish to be... I say to hell with trends and trendy people. If you are into the nightclub scene Im not your fella (now thats not to say I dont like going out I really do; to see blues bands, rock bands, big concerts etc that sort of stuff and restaurants some good Cajun anyone?

What I like in a woman is that she is independent, smart, strong, thinks for herself and says what she means and means what she says and is REAL. She is caring of animals and the environment and appreciates the beauty and preciousness of nature. She sees life as the glass half full.

On a first date if you really want to call it a "date" I prefer just breaking the ice as they say at a coffee shop or the like.. no pressure kinda thing.
