I'm a recent transplant to New York City from Los Angeles, and I'm loving every minute here! Moving from the field of education to the entertainment industry is a huge change, but my life now has a whole new element of excitement and joy to it. The city gives off a great energy, and I have been taking advantage of everything it has to offer. I love to try out restaurants (call me a foodie!), watch performances, attend outdoor events, bike along the Hudson River, drink wine at cute sidewalk cafes, dance the night away on roof top bars (pop and hip hop are my fave, but I dance to almost anything), and talk with friends in Central Park while sunbathing on the grass. And I don't limit myself to the city I live in...I love to travel. While studying abroad in Spain, I also visited Italy, France, and Portugal. While teaching English in Korea, I made some trips to China, Japan, Philippines, and Thailand. Recent trips included Costa Rica, Panama, and Kyrgyzstan. I know that there is so much more of the world I haven't seen so I am looking forward to my future journeys. (My radar is on South America as of now.)
