I just cut and pasted this from Match.com, where it got me nowhere. I should probably change it, but its honest and me, so I wont. I guess it's almost like a job resume. If there's nothing to it, people will give it a quick glance, than move on to someone more interesting. Im definitely more interesting than I can make myself out to be here with words, which you'll find out if you choose to talk to me.
Im divorced with two daughters, live in NE Philly, and work in Center City. I've never attempted online dating before. In fact, I've never attempted much dating before period. Im tired of being the 3rd, 5th, 7th, or 9th wheel when I go out with friends and having nobody to watch movies with on my couch. Most people I know are in relationships and i'd like to be in one also. Thats where you come in.
About me:
First off, Im a big fan of all Philly sports teams, particularly the Eagles and I like going to a few Phillies games every season. I prefer neighborhood bars to club, wearing jeans, sweathshirts, and work boots to wearing anything else. Id rather go to a Chickies and Petes type place than a fancy restaurant. I like beer, I dont like wine. I'd rather watch sports or a movie than most TV shows, other than old reruns like Seinfeld and the Simpsons. I love music and when Im watching games home alone at night, I'll have the TV muted and have music playing instead, anything from Motown and Sound of Philadelphia to classic rock and more recently, Linkin Park and Breaking Benjamins. There are plenty of times that Id rather hang in the house with a few friends than go out. I go to the gym a few times a week and if I stopped eating bad, I might actually see some results. Ive recently become addicted to Facebook. I also look just like my profile pics, so if you like them, good. If not, at least I'm not false advertising. I'm a very honest person, which maybe you can tell.
What Im looking for:
Someone with similar interests who wouldnt mind going out with me and a group of friends, or just hanging in or doing things by ourselves. Someone who likes to go to games and can sit and watch a game with me, or at least doesnt mind that Im watching. Im pretty active and always seem to have things going on with friends, but it would be nice to have someone special to take with me. Thats about it, hope someone finds this interesting.
