Variety is the spice of life! I love to keep life interesting by enjoying different activities but also balance is very important to me. If you run yourself ragged by doing all sorts of things, well whats the point! I like to enjoy life and also take the time to relax, like staying in to watch a good movie. (I love to watch movies, at home or in theatres) I also love the outdoors and often get out and hike in the parks with friends or larger groups. Its a great way to exercise and just get out and enjoy the scenery. You wouldn't know it to look at me, but I even do a little camping a few times a year and on occasion i get out biking, canoeing or kayaking. I love to travel and make a point to take at least 1 big vacation a year! Its great fun to go to new places, take in the local flavor, learn some history, maybe go shopping and enjoy the local restaurants too. Which brings me to my next point, I'm a bit of a foodie and enjoy to cook more than the avg single. But I'm not a big gourmet snob....I just think simply cooked food with good ingredients can be very good. And heck we've got to eat everyday so might as well enjoy it as much as possible! Another big ticket item....I love to see live music/concerts which fortunately is easy to do in Music City. Over the past year or so i've seen Billy Joel/Elton John, Jimmy Buffet (who was awesome!), Bruce Springstein as well as some local bands too. Ok so that's enough about me....I've joined this website to meet new people and would like to be dating someone. I've dated now and then from meeting people through friends or the activities i've done but I'd like to branch out and meet some new folks. I hope I can get to know you!

My perfect first date would depend on the season.....in the summer I'd say playing mini-golf and going to dinner would be great...in winter, then a dinner and movie would be perfect! This way you get to do something fun and get to chat a bit too!
