I am a 21 year old student doing a BA with a double major in Literature and History. I want to eventually become an English teacher. My personal goals other than that is to travel, meet new people and just enjoy life.

I love intelligent coversations over coffee, I also spend a great deal of time reading and writing poetry. I have completed seven anthologies but have not published anything thus far, however, it's definitely something I want to achieve in the future.

To sum up my personality, I am reserved, thoughtful, compassionate and intelligent. I'd like to meet like minded individuals who will provide me with stimulating company.

I also don't take life too seriously and enjoy myself whenever I get the chance. I have an active social life and love spending time with my girlfriends just having a great time. I have the gift of being both an intellectual and a complete goof. Most of my friends say I am crazy and you'll probably think the same if you get to know me. Alas, people never have a dull moment with me.

I'm also a size 18 and proud of it. I have an excellent sense of style and I am happy with myself and my body, but if that's a problem with you, that's fine, it doesn't bother me at all. I have a lot of confidence in myself generally.

As far as what I am looking for in a potential partner goes, intelligence is a must - simply because we will not be able to develop any sort of relationship if you're not; I'm not being rude, just honest. I am not interested in a man with a six pack, or one who claims to be fantastic in bed; I'm mentally attracted to people and therefore, your proof of the countless hours you have spent at the gym will not impress me. I'm not looking for a model or a body builder, just someone confident, intelligent and that has a good sense of humour.

On the first date, I think it's important to get to know the person first, so somewhere you can chat and get used to the person is best, such as dinner, a nature walk along the beach, a chat over coffee. Dates such as the movies, theatre and such are not as successful because it doesn't give you the chance to get to know someone.
