I'm 20 and I went to Hofstra University...it's a long story but I just moved back home in Maine and I'm bored and would really like to meet someone interesting.

Writing is my biggest passion. I really want to write a book. I was a columnist for my school newspaper and wrote poetry for the school literary arts magazine. I'm also a writer/intern for Relate magazine.

I love to travel. I've been to Italy twice. I studied abroad in Paris this summer and went all over Europe. I've always wanted to go to Africa and one day I hope to join the Peace Corps and go there to help. I really love learning about different cultures.

I like to go to Manhattan a lot with my friends, I love being in the city. I hate being bored. I'm very spontaneous and adventurous and will try a lot of different things. I'm fun and will go dancing any night of the week. I like sports. I used to play Field Hockey in high school. I love watching football on Sundays.

I love all kinds of music. R&B and hip hop are my favorite but I also like pop/punk and country. Usher is one of my favorite singers.

For a first date, I would make it casual. It doesn't have to be fancy or expensive. I would be happy if walked on the beach or went dancing and have dinner somewhere. Being more adventurous, I would say a day a Six Flags. Or we could simply watch a movie. I'm usually up for anything, especially if it's different.
