One day I was riding my bicycle and a truck ran over me. I flew 109 feet before I hit the ground. I lived!

I have a couple tattoos, I am eccentric, funny, fun, deep inside, great heart, open minded, liberal, positive, realistic. I enjoy many things in life, I am diverse, open minded, and I am looking for that special gal. My background is diverse. I was born in Los Angeles 1960. I grew up a nomad, living in many places. Among them, all over California, Idaho, Washington State, Wash DC, NYC, even Wyoming and Utah! I have traveled in Canada, Mexico, and multiple trips to Taiwan. My dream trip is ITALY. I will be 50 next June, so that may be the year!

My educational background includes studies in art, theatre, design, acting, architecture, film, science, philosophy. I am an independent, forward thinking visionary man. I have worked hard all my life, and most of my life I have worked for myself, employing others. I have founded a natural health care company, a bicycle manufacturing company, and now some new ventures.

Family-I did not have a traditional upbringing. I do admire family values.

Relationships with women-Most have been long term. I was married for 10 years, now I am not. In relationships I value
integrity and honesty. I am sincere and straightforward, and I like the same from friends and lovers.

Philosophy on Life-I have been around so many types of people in my life that I am very open minded and try to live my life and not judge others. I live in the realm of LIVE and LET LIVE. I believe in Karma, and the magic that men and woman can create when they can open their hearts and minds.

Religion-I have studied various religions and thoughts over the years. For me, it boils down to this. I believe in sprits, and I believe in things bigger than me. While I am responsible, and I do make things happen in life, sometimes things happen that are so mysterious and unusual it makes me confident that this membrane of life is not the only one that exists.

Politics-I believe in Socialism. I believe that those with more should give to those with less. Far too many people suffer on this planet, while so few own the wealth. I give back. I voted for Obama. I am a liberal socialist democrat I guess!

Finances-I produce my own independence, and I am looking for someone that does the same. I am a generous person.

Music-I love music. Classical, Rock, Hoe Down, Celtic, whatever(exceptions are rap and country). Let's go see some live music!

Film-I love film, eccentric unusual films stir me the most.

Theatre-live theatre is a pleasure, I would enjoy taking a date to see a play.

Athletics/Sports-Most of my life I have been involved in one or more types of sports. I am not much of a sports watcher until finals. I do watch the Tour de France every year. I raced bicycles for many years, competed at an elite level winning multiple U.S. and International Cycling Championships. My body loves to work. I retired from competitive sports, but I still enjoy cycling and yoga. I have tried a styles of yoga but mostly I do Bikram. I love hiking and walking as well.

I am looking for someone who is fit, attractive, smart, funny, open minded. I like a multifaceted women who can enjoy a casual night at home or a night out on the town. A lady with style and substance . An open minded one man woman that can appreciate my uniqueness. I am a good partner in friends and more. I am looking for the same respect.
