About Me
Hi to all,
I'd say I'm definately of the 'work to live' persuasion! Much as i love my job and work hard when i'm there, free time is precious and should be use for exploring all things new and exciting. If you love the great outdoors as much as i do then i'm sure we'll get along just fine! Whether its catching a few waves at sunset, a barbie on the beach with friends or a walk up on the hills, i'm there.
In the last few years i've been bitten by the travel bug and visited alot of SE Asia and this year New Zealand. Travelling around, meeting the local people, learning new languages, taking in and experiencing new cultures and traditions is fascinating and great fun.
As well as active hobbies i have a small creative streak and love all things arts, crafts and design. I've played the piano since i was knee high to a grasshopper and am now 'trying' to learn the guitar, but its taking a lot of patience!! Last year i fancied taking up a new challenge so am now treading the boards at the local theatre. Three shows under my belt now and the nerves are starting to settle!
I also enjoy the occasional night in with a DVD, popcorn (sweet, not salted) ice cream (Ben and Jerry's of course!) and a glass of red, and have recently discovered the joys of cooking. I'm working my way through Jamie Oliver slowly and have suprised even myself by some of the mouth-watering results.
I guess, like most, I would really love some company to enjoy it all the more with. So if you like what you see, get in touch x
happy fishing! has 2 roses that can be sent.
