The Bay Area has more activities, retreats and destinations within a 3 hour drive than anywhere else on earth. I do so enjoy the variety of pleasures and distractions. Life is to be lived and is not a spectator sport. A sharp wit and a playful spirit insure that everything worth doing is better done in good humor.

To my humble chagrin I have reached this age in life without connecting with anyone I would consider to be the great love of my life. I remain eternally optimistic that the best is yet to come. The only thing worse than waking up alone is waking up to the wrong person.

The best dates are unscripted, they are not on a time table, and they flow freely as two persons evolve at their own pace from strangers to kindred spirits. The possibilities are limited only by our fertile imaginations. Each first date is a blank canvas of possibilities, allowing the date itself to determine if our meeting was a masterpiece of museum quality or just another garage sale cast off. I prefer first dates that involve a destination (ie. walk along a coastal trail or redwoods), or activity (wine festivals, outdoor music, events) and followed by a chance at a quiet dinner. From there...who knows...
