Hi, i am a light-hearted, serious, silly, contemplative, playful person. i try to be honest with myself and admit my mistakes and learn from them while not judging others. Though i teach literature, i enjoy reading books on philosophy, spiritual growth, and psychology. but i think sometimes being too heady gets us in a place where we overlook the beauty that's always around us.
i love music, and i write and play it as well. guitar, bass, drums mostly but whatever i can get my hands on to. Like most kinds of music, but am a fan of supporting indie music. i like exercise and am enjoying running again.
stuck-up or self-centered people take themselves way too seriously, but hopefully they're learning. i've realized that people can only be what they are at that given point in time, no matter what potential or promise they might show, myself included.

some place where one can actualy talk to the person they're with. but i do like smaller music venues like the earl and star bar. not too picky about restaurants but i am vegetarian (whole-heartedly for ethical reasons) but i can usually find something. it's really not about the place, but rather who you are with.
