I like to think of myself as honest and loyal to my friends and family,the same goes for my personal relationships,though I realize this is a contradiction in terms to some womens point of view sometimes, but, I can only speak for myself when it comes too the failings of men

Ok, time for an update, I was trying to be polite and didn't really list what I was looking for in a woman but it seems I have to be a little more specific, I am not looking for a woman my age who could pass for my grandmother #1 or hugely overweight. No one is perfect me included but their are limits as to what I find attractive in a woman and nothing is going to happen if that chemistry is not there,trying not to be shallow here but it is what it is. Also a coffee at Tim's from past experience is not the way to find or feel that chemistry were all looking for.
And please,have pics on your profile before you want to chat,its only fair and don't add me as a fav and never talk or leave a message ( I still don't understand that one )
I listen to a range of music,everything from classic 70's to old heavy metal,really depends on my mood and the situation.Some of my burned CD's will have a variety of artists all thrown in together so you get a little taste of everything.My goals are simple..."just try to keep the wolf from the door".My aspirations are also simple..."To be happy " and be happy with the one i'm with.Now,about me,I'm single and have been in short,medium and long term relationships but here I am so none have worked out. I go to work everyday and I like my job and the company I work for. I didn't grow up in Brighton so I only know a few people to hang with but they have kids so its difficult for any real get-togethers and work schedules can be difficult to plan anything.I want to find a woman that I can do things with,whether its going to the drive-In,shooting some pool or just relaxing with drinks and tunes. I love to cook and I'm very independant ( no mama's boy here )she brought me up that way but I also can be quite stubborn at times because of it,but hey everybody has faults.On the other hand though i'm very easy going,I don't judge people and expect the same.My sense of humour runs to the Larry David type,if you know who he is we'll get along great!! As for what I like to watch I'm more of the HBO type,True Blood,Dexter,Curb Your Enthusiasm,hint ,hint and I can't stand reality shows!!!

First dates are tough,especially if you go the " dinner Route " I find them to staged and formal and you really don't get to know the person your with. I would much prefer a casual meeting with some sort of activity going on around you and you have a choice to take part or watch over drinks and really relax around that person your with. Sometimes loose plans can be the most enjoyable and the " date " developes on its own.
