Like to be active, love movies of all types, like to get out while the weather is good, like to relax to keep a good balance, love to travel anything from National Parks to Vegas, love the coast and the mountains, favorite place is Carmel-by-the Sea but looking for rivals, like to drive, like to fly and don't care which, hate routine but will put up with work to pay the bills, don't mind hard work and long hours but there will be balance, like to go camping, floating down rivers, like science fiction, I WILL run a marathon one day, like most music but not that much Rap, maybe a bit more Country. I'm English originally, been here since 1998, will not be going home, now a Permanent resident, well may be for the odd visit. Aiming to travel as much as possible, and looking to retire to a house by a lake or close to the coast. Red wine is yummy, just leave me the champagne when it comes to white, like to watch bands, dinner theater, comedy clubs and just about anything that makes me laugh, love golf but not had much chance recently.

I think that the very first first dates should be simple and out there in public with an easy means of leaving if one or both are just not feeling it - a coffee shop is good. Second dates should still be in public but more active so that both can get to know each other a little more, like a movie or the theater
