I am sort of sorry... sort of... to say that I have great taste in friends, but have yet to find someone who can incorporate more-than-friends if it comes up. My hobbies are as eclectic as everything else about me and I am pretty easy to please. I like people and doing things. I love a night of being a couch potato and eating a PBJ as much as I do a night of getting girlied up and going out. I do love a good concert though.

I don't particularly want to go out often and dance, but I love to dance and move. I love scrabble and board games. I love movies. I love theatre (yes, it's supposed to be "re"). I do not smoke, and don't tolerate it well in others, although I can tolerate it, if needs be.

As far as my taste in music I like everything but rap (no kidding everything else). I'm not a huge fan of R&B, blue grass, classical, nor really hard stuff... but I have a variety of music in my collection. I am fairly intelligent and get on best with others who are too. I have little patience for really dumb things.

Yes, I do love a lot of things. that's just me. Don't lie to me to be nice either. Diplomacy is good... but it has it's limits. I lloovvee kids and lloovvee animals. I have a cat. If you can't stand cats, or dogs for that matter, we will not mesh well.

I have lost 65 lbs in the last 10 months and while I am not too physically oriented, I do look for someone to be responsible with their body and life. I go to the gym everyday. Golds. I give fast food a wide berth.

I'm a sucker for chivalry and back rubs. And guys who can pull off cowboy hats. It's all about having the character to pull of the hat. Tall, dark and handsome move over. And yes, I do like some country music.

I should probably add that I need to take things slow-and-easily. I am a firm believer in being friends first. And I will talk your ear off, so be prepared.

and yes (lastly) I am a hopeless romantic. So, be nice.

To me, a "first date" is a big name with which to saddle a what should be a getting-to-know-you experience. I would rather go DO something than just sit and chat over food or coffee. I get nervous (don't you?) and make a grand fool of myself if I try to sit still or do anything that needs fine coordination. It would be really good to take your dog to the dog park, maybe?

To me, the actual first date comes AFTER knowing the person anyway... so the thought is a little premature.

Although, I do like food. Not so much coffee though (I like masala chai). And have a sweet tooth bigger than I am!

Teach me something!! I really enjoy learning something new - I don't always do it again, but I love learning new things. I love to laugh. An afternoon of going through the mall and trying on hats and things is always a blast--be sure to bring a camera. Never played frisbee golf... never been to a shooting range... never changed my own oil... all things I want to do.

I don't like horror movies, really disgustingly gory stuff nor seeing people hurting (I'm a softy... yes, I still cry when Bambi's Mom and Old Yeller die), but did just recently watch Zombieland and was rolling with laughter, even though it is gross and bloody. It is a quite entertaining movie.
