Hobbies - As far as my hobbies, I don't have a ton of them at this point. I do scrapbook and it is a good way to unwind. Enjoy photography, plays, even an opera every now and again. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. My child keeps me running from here to there so my favorite hobby is chasing after him. I like to dance and laugh. Basically, I enjoy most everything as long as it is positive.

Goals - I am finishing up my BA right now and wish ot continue on and receive my masters. As far as career, I would eventually like to start a non-profit assisting teen mothers. With focus on getting them educated, employeed, and out of the government assistance cycle.

Me - I am a single mother, a sister, daughter, friend, employee, and child of God. The reason I am online is that I stay busy and am not as available to meeting new people like I could be. I am very independant and don't feel that I need a man to complete me, but I want to meet a man to share a life with, a companion. I am not into games or wasting time. I am open to dating every ethnicity but do have a tendancy to gravitate towards black men. I have no desire to engage in hook ups or being someone's "buddy". There is nothing wrong with that, just not where I am at.

Music - I love music. Everything from classic rock to r&b. I enjoy blues, jazz, classical, 80' pop, old school hip hop through the 90s. Some of the newer rap/r&b is ok, but I prefer older. I keep my radio on an old school r&b station.

A first date, well I am up for most anything. I prefer that the man makes the plans for the first time out. My reasoning is that I want to see what he has learned about me from our first conversations and how he perceives my interests. I have enjoyed first dates that were typical dinner/movie, to long walks and even batting cages.
