About Me
Anybody find the most difficult part of starting a paper paper is fluency and just getting started? As such,m I'm just going to jump right in with minimal eloquence or style: Though I'm no great believer in astrology, I have to admit, I'm true to my stars (or is it planets?) in that I fit the persona of "gemini" to a tee. I can be quite outgoing (at times downright ridiculous) and love the company people, yet at the same time, I'm very independant and cherish the moments I have to myself. I'm generally laid back but can less so when it come to things I'm passionate about. I genuinly love to run. I used to train competitively but somehow this seems a luxury that I cant afford(in more ways that one) since entering university, and now, I simply run out of love (always looking for running buddies... just throwing it our there).
I'm also vegetarian and then some (lie somewhere between vegan and vegetarian), and while it would be great to meet up with another veggie, its definitely not a requirement. I spent a month backpacking through Egypt and Italy the summer before last and when the resources are ample, would love to do some more travelling, though I don't see this happening in the near future. I also love to learn. I'm the type of person who takes more credits than necessary for their degree because there is just so much I would love to know. Well this is getting rather long, and I'm doing a rather poor job of describing myself. I guess to sum up more up with a few descriptive words I would consider myself: easy going, driven, honest, active, contemplative, merrily dispositioned, outgoing, passionate...
Also, as for the fourth point : "4. Your taste in music.", I'm surprised that it would given be particular mention, however, if it actually helps, I suppose I listen mostly to classical, jazz, and celtic. That being said, I don't think I would judge anyone too harshly based on their musical preferences, no more than I would based on their favorite variety of cuisine.
First Date
Tricky question really: I have always said that I would never date a guy who invited me to a dinner and movie for a first date. It does project a certain lack of originality and how are you supposed to get to know someone while watching a movie? Personally I would rather be on a date that reflects someones personality. Perhaps kayaking if the person is of the water sports-variety, or beer tasting at a local brew pub. Anything at all besides a movie I would likely find impressive
That being said however, given the whole "internet dating" aspect, I suppose dinner would suffice given it provides the opportunity to get to know someone.
